Best no-kill shelter yet! These people genuinely care about every animal in there and provide the best services from vaccinations to spay/neuter at an affordable price! I should personally know because for one, I do community service there so I get to see how they interact with the animals and yes, EVERY staff member and even the volunteers genuinely care. It's a no-kill shelter so it's clearly full and I've witnessed an individual go off on the staff for not taking a stray in. Please be patient because they're taking proper care of every animal before adopting out. Their vaccination services and spay/neuter services are phenomenal. They just did the full works on my family's community cat we took in off the streets of Houston. They found issues we weren't sure of and addressed them prompt

The people there are so friendly and I feel so sorry for the dogs. But there's one dog there named robeit's been there for 6 months. Her owner couldn't take care of her and she's been there since she was 6 months old, she real shy, and she needs a home, please, somebody adopt her.She's such a sweet little dog

Very nice setup you're able to go in a room and interact with the cats. I don't know about the dogs we were not interested in that

the staff here are not very welcoming and i always go through so much to adopt and they never let me. my fur baby passed away and i went here seeking another small kitten for my other fur baby who was grieving pretty badly. they were no help and i never hear back from them. this is my 2nd time trying to adopt from Rita B. Huff (i tried almost 4 years ago) and again i have been left disappointed :(

Needed immediate help and was turned down. The owner of the dog I needed passed away rest of family being placed in nursing homes. I understand they say no room but this was and still is a desperate situation. No compassion.
