Petco Grooming

We all felt very welcomed. Austin handled them with care and even assisted in putting the new harness and outfits on. You can really tell he loves his job and pets. Bring your fur babies to get groomed 😍

Not 5-star due to requiring many bits of information on my dogs, and moreover, because the staff seemed aloof to my efforts to provide their A-Z data on my dogs. One employee in the pet grooming suite was occupied by work on the PC in front of her. That's understandable. The other staff person in the suite was more "business centered" rather than being the slightest bit friendly or interested in my struggles. I alone was in the suite trying to simply get their nails retrimmed. A male employee walking past me (I was then kneeling on the floor near the cash registers) and my two frisky, leashed Dachshunds, agreed to stop what he was doing and provide the hands-on assistance I needed at that moment. I must say that my experience was great. My groomer, Carrie, was very professional. She was very thorough and explained everything to me. I appreciate how patient she was with my dog who was so nervous. Highly recommend.

Brought my dog there to get groomed and picked him up bleeding from a huge gash on his leg, that I discovered. The manager said the grokmer didnt report the incident... Yes they refunded the money for thr grooming, and paid for his initial vet visit, but we were told he may need surgery to close the wound. Its been 10 days and he's still in a cone, and we ended up having to pay for the majority of his wound care supplies. Will NEVER go back.

My 2 dogs and I just love the grooming staff at the Huntsville, Texas location. They have taken care of Milo and Scooter for 11 years. At this point, they are family.
