Ristow's Pet Grooming

Worst groomer I have ever been to. DO NOT COME HERE! They add hidden fees for being "bit"... but when asked about it she can't recall the bite, it was more of just a "snap"... but again she doesn't recall because she groomed so many dogs. So if that bite was so bad that you need to charge me an additional $50, why can't you recall it? If you have to have a fee that you add for so many dogs biting you, maybe you shouldn't be a groomer. I will be looking into her license and reporting her. My poor pup is super razor burnt, and her little face looks horrible. She has been groomed her entire life and I have never had any issues or her not liking clippers like she said. She only did half of her face! I brought my mom's puppy in who needed her first cut, she's pomeranian and shitzu. Becca did a fabulous job and was so compassionate and patient with her. She talked to her and showed her total love. The owner of the shop was there as well and she too was amazing! Darling is a forever client at Ristow's❣️ Thank you both for making Darling's 1st experience a calm and relaxing one.

Yeah, there's really no way to say this nicely but this place gave the worst groom my dog's ever had. I was not thrilled with my experience with Ristows and will not be back again. My senior girl is a Maltese / Mini Poodle mix, has been groomed religiously since I rescued her when she was 1 year old and she is groomed every 6-8 weeks on a very strict schedule. Finding a groomer in WA since we moved back has been quite the task and I decided to give this grooming shop a try since it was within an hour drive from my new house. I was quoted around $70 for a full haircut and groom, only to come back to a bill for $100+ for "extreme matting" and anal gland expression which I didn't agree to. Its been months of taking my doggies here, and let me just say Wow! this place is amazing 👏 🤩 so sweet, passionate and leave your dogs smelling soo good!!! My dogs were happy upon pick up and didnt show any signs of harm unlike other experiences ive had with other groomers this place is wonderful thankyou with all my heart ❤️

I took my dog Paisley to Ristows for grooming today.When I picked up Paisley the employee stated that Paisley didn’t like the blow drier or the clippers. They did the best they could with scissors. When I paid I had to ask why I was being charged so much. There response was that Paisley bit the groomer. After leaving the groomers we saw the Paisley had a razor burn on her head . We called the groomer and spoke to her and She stated it wasn’t a bite more like a snap. That cost me an extra $50. Very unprofessional grooming.Won’t be back!!
