Rio Vista Veterinary Hospital

I had taken in a bunny from an auction who was sick, had an eye infection so bad it was almost swelled shut and matted in her fur, her belly was bare and she was just in very bad shape. My normal vet was not in and everywhere I called wouldn't squeeze her at all or was trying send me further out to more expensive places. The staff here was amazing. They not only made time for her same day but they went far above my expectations to ensure she was taken care of properly and listened thoroughly to what I had done for her already and what I thought may be wrong. Even though we are not regular patrons to this vet they still checked on the bunny several days later. I highly recommend to anyone looking for somewhere for their pets, especially rabbits, come here. The staff is amazing and friendl

My German Shepherd was itching himself raw, he had puss coming out and smelled very foul. It broke my heart! My they got him in right away, handled his anxiety so well, took a sample and gave us a pill for itching, an antibiotic, and a shampoo. He was so anxious and they showed him so much love and compassion that when they were looking him over he calmed down so much! It hasn’t even been a week and his scabs are already healed, he’s back to acting like himself, and his coat is already growing back in. I could not say enough wonderful things about how happy I am that we were treated so well and they truly seemed concerned over our boys health! Rio Vista is a great vet. They're really great with my cat and my dog. Always friendly and personable, making follow up calls after visits to make sure my pets are feeling better. Their prices are also very fair. I've never felt like I was getting ripped off, and they gave us a price break wherever they could when our dog got very sick and had to make several visits. I highly recommend this vet.

Our foster cats and ferrets go to Rio. Dr. Dodds is great with them.
