Dr. Mike and his staff have been amazing and beyond accommodating. We are currently travelling between the area and Show Low and there have been 2 specific times they have gotten us in with very little prior notice. Dr. Mike has been open to listening to my ideas on how to treat our animals and we have thoroughly talked through game plans and next steps; something that no other vet I've been to has done. I had always been shamed by other vets for suggesting outside of the box thinking and Dr. Mike really leaned in to understand my view on the suggestions I had. I greatly appreciate feeling like I've been heard and like our animals have a strong team to help them feel better!

I can’t begin to say enough about Dr. Mike & his staff. They have all been kind, professional, knowledgeable & honest. Dr. Mike takes the time to listen to you & care for your pet in the best way possible. He actually cares! I did lose my Lacey due to old age & being sick. Dr. Mike & Katrina were wonderful when that day came. As for me I was a mess & they held me together. The office is clean & the rates seem fair. I would say Rio Verde Animal Hospital is a 5 star ⭐️ veterinary hospital. He will remain my veterinarian
