Petfolk Veterinary & Urgent Care - Scottsdale

Thank you to Dr. DeKing and team! We called them on a Sunday morning worried about our pup, Stella. We got to speak to a nurse to triage if it was an urgent or emergent issue and they scheduled us an appointment for the same day. Quick check in process and wonderful bedside manner from the technician and the doctor. Very clean and modern office! Our dog received amazing and kind care with upfront pricing. We were very impressed and want to use them for our dog’s comprehensive care as well! Another cute detail was Stella was given a cute bandanna and they gave us an extra one for Kaia as well ❤️ we highly recommend this Vet Care Team!

Dr. DeKing is truly amazing! The kind of vet you hope to find but rarely do. She’s so gentle, patient, and caring with my Hitch, and you can feel how much she loves what she does. Every visit feels calm and comforting, and she always takes the time to explain things in a way that makes me feel supported and heard. The entire staff is wonderful, friendly, welcoming, and always ready to help. They make every visit a positive experience for both me and my Pup. I’m so grateful for the care Dr. DeKing and her team provide. I honestly couldn’t ask for a better vet.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS VET! I don't think I've been into a better veterinarian office in my life. The staff is great. Petfolks was able to get me and my Annie in without an appointment. My poor baby girl was limping so I needed to get her in quickly... she tore her ACL 😭 Dr. Powell and nurse Yvonne WERE ABSOLUTELY AMAZING. Our pug, Stitch, went in for respiratory issues and received fantastic care from Dr. Johanna DeKing and veterinary nurse, Ashley. Digital X-rays gave a crystal clear depiction, and despite our pug having a lot of character to his body (he’s rocking the rolls), Dr. DeKing was able to get a great lymph node sample from him. He was treated with xtra TLC, was given a lot of affection, adoration, and attention from staff. We were not at all rushed, we thoroughly considered possible etiology together, I was so pleased with the amount of time we were given. Office was clean, very cute, and staff was so kind. Dr. DeKing even took the time to explain the minute medical details to my daughter who is aspiring to become a veterinarian, which was so kind. Ashley was probably the best veterinary n

Dr Deking and the other relief vets have been so incredible. I’ve been going to this vet for about a year and they go above and beyond to make me feel like they truly care and have my dog’s best interest at heart. The membership plan is also very nice because something that could end up being wildly expensive is usually not, they also will direct you where to get things instead of just having you get it from them at a high price (basically, they aren’t just trying to take your money - which you can tell immediately on visit 1 that this is NOT that kind of vet office).
