Rieger Lloyd a DVM

This is the vet we wish we could take to every place we’ve been stationed. This clinic and Dr. really and truly cares about his patients and clients. I called Dr. Rieger when we were in Austin 9 years after moving away from Portland for advice about our dog that he treated as a puppy. The Dr remembered us and our pup who nipped at him when she had parvo. Did not charge me or rush me off the phone, but answered all my questions about what a vet in Austin was telling us. This man truly cares about animals.

They are walk in only. Great for 9-5 working individuals due to their hours being 4PM to 7PM. Which a is great example for other businesses to follow. We went in for updates for a check up, vaccines, and a refill for flea/heart-worm meds. Given that our old vet refused to refill the 12 mo medications because they and Chewy didn’t want to be legally responsible for medications when mailed to a PO Box. They also demanded a check up to get them. We literally moved hours away! These were barriers to her care. Logically, I did what I needed to do and came to this vet. Doc was fast, professional, and efficient. He listened to understand. We were in and out quickly. Lloyd Roger DVM is an "old school vet". No lab coats or itemized treatment cost sheets with every ball of cotton or syringe used. You don't find many like him any more. He has an amazing talent for handling animals. He's the kind of guy who will never read this, cuz he could care less about Google reviews. But I could not recommend anyone higher, than Dr. Rieger to trust the health of your dearly loved pet.

Dr Rieger is the Vet for all 3 of our doggies. We just love him and Venus! 💜
