My 8-month-old puppy Mae boarded for 3 weeks to establish a solid training foundation. Working with Brandt was fantastic—he was supportive and answered every question. Mae’s constantly with me as I work from home, so leaving her was hard but after the first week, I saw she was thriving. She mastered commands and obedience, and they stressed that consistency at home is key for lasting results. Our close friends’ dog boarded alongside Mae; since the pups are buddies, they shared the same trainer, daily walks, and playtime together. I strongly recommend Ridgeside!

I couldn’t be more grateful to have found this place! Ace came from a shelter and before that was a stray, so there was a lot for him to overcome—and a lot for us as new dog owners to learn as well. Brandt was Ace’s trainer, and his communication and overall care for Ace were amazing. From day one, Brandt made us feel completely at ease leaving our dog with him. The daily updates showed how enthusiastic and excited he was about every new obstacle Ace overcame. Overall, we had an incredible experience and fully trust them with Ace moving forward.

Hand down the best training I’ve ever had! My Mocha left from my home a wild puppy and came back a well mannered dog who listens, walks and sits. Ricky did such an amazing through job explaining and working with my son on what needed to be continued for her development at home. So worth the drive to work with Ridgeside K9 Tidewater.

Ridgeside K9 Tidewater gave me my dog and my peace of mind back. I still get emotional thinking about the “before.” Yogi is my rescue girl, a sweet, scared soul I adopted without knowing her story. Walks turned into nightmares; she’d lunge and bark at every dog we passed, and I’d tense up, hide behind cars, heart racing, praying we’d make it home without incident. I love her so much, but I was starting to dread leaving the house. Then came the 21-day board and train with Brandt at Ridgeside K9 Tidewater. I was nervous dropping her off…would she be okay? Would this even work? BUT from day one, Brandt’s updates and videos put my heart at ease. He saw Yogi, not just the reactivity. He understood her fear and gently, firmly guided her out of it. It took me a while to write this review. Midnight is a Cane Corso, my daughter found on the highway. He was a little over one when she brought him home. He Hates, most males. TIFFANY, is the best. The review isn't about her. I would let her handle any dog I have. The owner, rude. I felt like he tormented my dog. To break him, now Im not a dog trainer. So, I dont know what is done. His lip was severely damaged. The owner felt no need to communicate with me. I tried to ask him questions. He was there for my money. Next time, Ill just pay Tiffany. Cut the middle man out. Midnight, is better around certain males now. Because I have imcooperate differnt people in his life. Tiffany has done a great job, he still remembers what he was taught.
