Ridgefield Animal Hospital

Have worked with Dr. Heidinger for many years with several of my animals cats and dogs. Also have boarded there on occasion. Dr. has only done the right thing for my pets. I trust him completely with my animals. I don't believe for one second anyone who says he has ever been rude, not possible, it is not his personality!!!!! The vet. techs have also been great. I cannot imagine anyone having a problem with any of them. They handle my animals always with care and take them out and play with them when boarded. They look like they really enjoy what they do. I would never hesitate to recommend this vet. There are other larger vet services in town but I prefer the intimacy of this group and I have run into somewhat abrupt and even rude services at some of the others. I am very happy with them a

Have been coming here since 1990!!!!! Our dogs were always treated well and professionally! It feels like family in the best sense of the word. I would recommend it to anybody and everybody. We have NEVER had a problem with Dr. Heidinger and/or the staff! They have always been on call when needed.

Always accommodating and polite. They are all about our pet. They treat our dog like a doctor would treat you in an office visit. Thank you for the care. Our pet needs some dental work and instead of taking our money they said that it would be better if we go to a veterinary dentist rather then them taking care of her. Love the honesty. Thank you.

Have been there 2 times now. I switched from another vet in Ridgefield that I had not had a good experience with. I had called my old vet To get my dog again because he had a very painful rash. It was nine in the morning and they couldn't see him until four, and they had at least four vets there . Dr heidinger got him in at 11am. Ridgefield animal hospital is a very small homey place, with a small group of workers that are all so nice and friendly. Mark at the front desk is wonderful, so helpful and nice. All the vet techs say hi, and are very friendly. Dr. Heidinger is great, very compassionate. Also I called a couple of times in between my visits, expecting to have them call me back, or talk to a vet tech, each and every time Dr heidinger himself got on the phone with me. I'm a bit n

My adult son JUST rescued a 10 month old yorkie. We had no medical knowledge of him, and after being with us for 7 days, he vomitted and became weak - unsteady on his feet and woozy. We live down the street, so we barged into the animal hospital and were immediately helped. They took our Yorkie in, and I called every 45 minutes and stopped in twice during an 8 hour period. I asked 100 questions. I was a complete nuisance but never once did they act like I was. They were kind, gracious and tolerant. Dr. Cliff and Mark asked that I check in the next day and they keep thanking ME. Odd, right? I found them to be exceptionally helpful. My dogs temperature was too low, and she was dehydrated. She was back to normal well within 24 hours. I am so insanely grateful.
