I have been volunteering with Rescue Rebels for 3 ½ years, and they have made it possible for me and my family to save countless dogs by fostering for them. They provide everything needed and are always available for guidance and support. I became more involved because this is truly an organization I can stand behind. This rescue is real rescue. They take in the dogs knocking on death’s door, the ones with behavioral challenges, the dogs going through heartworm treatment, even the perfectly healthy, happy ones who simply end up at the shelter or on theeuthanasia lists. We had the most incredible experience with rescue rebels. They promptly reached out for our application to adopt and coordinated over the phone to walk us through the steps to make sure we were aware of all the information about the dog we sought to adopt. After a house inspection and reference verifications, we were able to meet with the dog we wanted to adopt and our current dog to ensure they were a good match. Three weeks later these two dogs are the best of friends and everything we were looking for. I want you to think about this for a minute. I see people asking for referrals to cheap vet care and how expensive it is. Now think of how the organization takes these dogs in, nurses them in many cases back from the brink of death and blesses families looking for an amazing new family member all for donations.
