Rensselaer Pet Care Boarding, Grooming, and Training

This is an excellent place to train and board your fur babies! All of the staff are knowledgeable and caring. The quality of ALL their services is superb. They excel in training and boarding. They care for your babies like they are family. We have been using their services for over 2 years. We use the boarding, training, daycare and veterinary services. Highly recommend.

I can not speak for the boarding and grooming as I did not use these services. My rating is based solely on my experience of the training facility. I had called on 9/10/25 to speak to someone about classes for my dog. This facility is closer to home and I thought could be a good thing for my dog since they are affiliated with the vets at Rennselear Pet Care. I used the clinic in the past for my pets medical needs. On 9/15/25 5 days after calling and leaving a message the trainer called and left me a message and gave me her personal number to call or text. I text her with a little info about my dog on 9/17/25 and that I was interested in next class and wanted to know the cost and duration. As of 9/23/25 I have yet to receive a response. I can't say enough good things about this practice - medical, boarding, and behavior. With 5 pets, I visit often, and the entire staff takes such good care of us, from routine care to chronic illnesses and end-of-life. Costs are reasonable, and they treat my pets like family. Having worked in pet care, I know a good practice when I see one, and this one is great.

We take our dog here each time we leave town and have never been disappointed. Terrific staff!
