Redwood Area Animal Shelter

It was an extremely nice building, so clean and the staff are very nice (: I can tell the kittens are treated very well and are socialized. Will definitely be coming back for another visit! -Anastasia

About two weeks ago my boyfriend and I made the decision that we wanted to adopt a cat or kitten to add to our home. We had just got back from going to my Uncle's funeral and my dad had passed in October of last year. To say there was a hole I needed to fill was an understatement. When we got to the Redwood Humane Society everything was clean, the cats had plenty of space to roam, and you could tell that the staff loved all of the animals in their care. We ourselves wanted to take home each and every cat we came across. We finally settled on a little kitten to bring home with us. The adoption process was easy and smooth. Very helpful and friendly staff

I had a hard time finding the driveway. You have to enter from the side road and turn into a parking lot of another building, i think it was a church, drive on gravel behind the?church and you will see the shelter. Once there the staff are great and very helpful. The building is clean. The cats have a lot of freedom to move around the building and were well cared for. I adopted 2 cats from here.
