Red River Exotics and Aquatics

We’ve purchased a handful of fish and snails from Red River now and have had a great experience. The customer service is above and beyond, especially when Mia is working. Included are pictures of my black moor and betta purchases here. Unfortunately I couldn’t get pictures of the platys because they’re too fast. They ordered the platys as a special request for me and they were great to work with. All fish have been beautiful and heathy (snails too).

Great shop with a large selection of pets and several good quality specialty items. Staff was friendly and engaging. I was able to find an enclosure not available in other shops. Very happy to have them here in Fargo.

We respect that every business has its policies. The concern was simply how the situation was handled. We were told one thing initially and experienced something different . At the time of purchase, we were told the $500 terrarium system was working and ready to go. When it did not function as expected, we called to ask if it could be looked at. Being told to go watch a video , it’s not that hard, that you shouldn’t have to hold hands, was not helpful. Our concern was never about being “right” or “wrong.” It was simply asked if the issue could be looked at after being told the system was working at purchase. Super awesome store has really nice fish, and reptiles we really look forward to visiting every time we go to fargo. We have purchased several shrimps and they all survived. I recommend this little store to anyone wanting to avoid the other big stores.

Thank you Red River Exotics for not only being our weekly stop for all of our exotic animal needs… but also for being so awesome! My 4 year old whenever she’s good at an appointment wants her treat to go visit Skittles and Spot (their free roam bird and Tegu) but also to see all the fun animals you guys have in your shop!
