Raritan Animal Hospital

We had to help our 16.5 yo dog over the rainbow bridge this morning. We were not patients before today. Our vet did not open until 2 and our baby was not waking up this morning. They took us right in and showed more compassion than I ever would have expected from the office we have gone for 16 years. The room was very considerately put together. Everyone was so very kind and did everything on our pace. They explained everything so well. They made what started as a chaotic horror of a morning into the peaceful and loving passing I had hoped for. I can't thank them all enough.

This is my third vet and I'm so happy I decided to bring my cat here after bad experiences with the other two. Brought him in for a cough and they really took their time and was very thorough with him. I'm pretty sure they spent 10 minutes just petting him and giving him treats 😂. I got a lovely handwritten card in the mail after my appointment, welcoming me to the family. Everyone here is so nice! Highly recommended.

My 5-year-old Shih Tzu was a patient since she was 6 weeks old. When I rescued a Micro bully, we switched to another vet so we were able to get my shih tzu spayed and my micro bully checked out. Long story short, I should not have done that and stayed with Raritan Animal Hospital. We are now back as patients for both my dogs, and I am so pleased with them! The staff is kind and accommodating. The doctors aren't looking to add on to your bill or give things that are not necessary. They are honest and trustworthy and take their time. You don't feel rushed and all of my questions were answered.. I have recommended this place to everyone who needed a vet or is looking for a vet, and they are all pleased! Everyone from the office staff to the techs are amazing. Dr Levine and Dr McGeehan were exceptional, they are truly compassionate, caring and excellent veterinarians. I would highly recommend them to anyone who wants the best care for their furry family members. There are no words to express our gratitude to Dr Levine for her kindness and compassion today with our beloved cat Zorro, we can't thank her enough

I have been going here for many years and had begun to notice 1. The turn over for office managers is unreal 2. The price gouging has become unbearable. 3. Unnecessary tests have become a way of life to charge more The PROS: Doctor and technicians are extremely nice and professional, was well as the most of the staff. They are quick now to get your pet in The CONS The office manager Dayanna is quite possibly the worst attituded person I ever met, who went into a call with me about the $56 they charged for an online $8 medicine unwilling to budge. the call became heated and rude, both of us, so she canceled my pets ability to go there. My PET was punished for her and I arguing. My dog was there for an eye infection, he didnt need xrays. not more I can say. Sad office manager.
