We hired Carpet Place to replace the tile in the kitchen with laminate flooring. Unfortunately they did a poor job of removing the tile mortar (on a concrete slab base) causing "lumps" in the new floor, We've lived (regrettably) with that issue, but one of the lumps has caused a laminate strip to stick up creating a tripping hazard. We reported the issue to CP. The cost to repair the issue was $300. We weren't thrilled about the cost to repair a workmanship issue, but decided to do it anyway. Initial response by the company was very slow. Once contact was made, there have been no-shows and unscheduled shows (homeowner not home). Frustrating. I have had all the flooing in my house done by Carpet Place. Its not a huge warehouse with a bunch of part time college kids working there. But dont let the intimate setting fool you into thinking they dont have an abundance of carpets and floorings made to order. Its perfect for a regular person like me. Ive dealt with those huge warehouse type places before and Carpet Place by far exceeds them all. Thank u.

I’m so glad a friend recommended Carpet Place to me. It was such a wonderful experience from the first phone call with Michelle to picking out the carpet to the installation. Even after the installation, Michelle called me to make sure everything went well. She was so kind and patient and helpful as we were trying to pick what carpets to use for our staircase. Even the gentlemen that came to install the carpeting were so kind and quick and cleaned up well after they were finished. We were extremely pleased with their work—very neat and the carpeting looks beautiful. After they left, we realized that we can use the extra carpet left over, but it needed to be cut to the correct size. We called them and they came right back and did so with a smile!
