P.U.P.S. of Lewes

P.U.P.S., which stands for Pawsitively Unique Pet Shop, has been a beloved part of the community for 20 years, and it’s easy to see why. This charming little doggy store truly lives up to its name—offering everything from stylish collars and sturdy leashes to fun toys, tasty treats, quirky signs, and all kinds of pet-themed knick-knacks. What really sets P.U.P.S. apart, though, is the staff. They’re incredibly friendly and welcoming, always taking the time to ask before offering your pup a treat—a small gesture that shows how much they care. Whether you're shopping for essentials or just popping in to browse, this store is a must-visit for any dog owner. Highly recommend this little gem!

I'm vacationing in the area, and spent one afternoon in Lewes. I stopped in this pet store because I am always looking for a store that carries UpCountry harnesses. Many stores carry the UpCountry leashes and collars, but not the harnesses. The second I walked into the store, the lady at the register greeted me while she was helping some customers. Once she finished helping the customers, she immediately came up to me and my dogs with treats for my little ones. Her kind gesture made me feel so welcome. This store carries a lot of UpCountry products in many designs, which amazed me. The wide selection gave me a better idea how the different designs look in person. Unfortunately, their UpCountry harness selection in Size Small was very limited. The lady, Jody, working there was so helpful. S

Went in to the store and saw these stuffed plush dogs around the store. I picked one up and as I was walking towards the register the lady in the store who is presumably the owner informed me that they’re displays and not for sale. Upon looking around further, majority of the “merchandise” isn’t for sale as I was told. Clearly this lady has an addiction and can’t let go of her dog products.

Very nice little store. The worker who I believe was the owner, was very nice and offered my pup treats. She was very attentive to my shopping needs and helped me look for what I needed. Great shop with unique breed gifts and a must for dog owners on vacation.

Was there for the first time last night and had a great experience! Staff was so nice and helpful in recommending what would be best for my dog. 100% would go back!
