Puppies Plus

Hello! My husband and I recently adopted a puppy from Puppies Plus on February 1st, and as the proud owners of a beautiful chocolate lab named Strawberry 🍓 I wanted to leave an honest review of our experience. First, I want to share that my husband and I are very passionate about rescuing. Prior to adopting Strawberry, we have only ever had rescue dogs. We are absolutely not puppy mill supporters. That said, this store is not a puppy mill. I understand why that might be a concern for some people, but I did my research and also spoke directly with the wonderful husband and wife team who run the shop. They are very transparent about how they operate and were happy to answer our questions. They work closely with and personally travel to specific breeders who are registered with the American

Okay, I really didn’t want to like this place. Selling puppies in a mall always rubbed me the wrong way, however, I wanted a specific breed that I just couldn’t find around locally. So being a hypocrite I decided to take a look when I saw they had one in. I was actually impressed with how kind the staff was and how much knowledge they had on the dogs. We ended up purchasing a puppy (happy early Valentine’s Day to me!!) and I had to wait a few days to make sure her health exam results came back good (which I appreciated). She’s been a really good dog, sleeps through the night in her crate, has had only one accident in a week. She came with all her papers and even a free vet exam. UPDATE: we love Frank SO much, that we welcomed his sister into our family Heidi girl also purchased at puppies plus…. Our babies are the light of our lives and we take them literally everywhere with us 😂🥰 I also can’t stress enough how amazing the staff is at handling and maintaining their puppies health and safety! I went with mom to get Bailey and Hanna was awesome. Mom and my twin were there earlier in the week and met different staff who were also extremely helpful. Bailey is adjusting well. So smart and eager to please. Thank you all so much. We are so happy to see mom loving her new pup as she lost her longtime friend a few weeks ago and was devastated. Bailey has helped her so much. My bro and I are raising and teaching him everything as we will be caring for him as mom just gets to enjoy him. 👍🐶💖

I am an actual customer, unlike many bad reviews I see here. Our baby girl will be 2 years old soon and she is my soul dog! If this pet store didn’t exist, I don’t believe she would be here with me now. When we got her, the employees were patient and helpful. They provided any and all information on our puppy before we decided to make her ours. We had been coming to see the puppies through the windows for years before ever becoming a customer and we never saw any unfit conditions and I am also an experienced pet trainer/handler and our dog’s behavior has been wonderful. She is healthy, smart and happy. I also strongly support adoption, but all dogs deserve a family—even those existing within a pet shop. When we are ready to give her a sibling, I will consider either option—shelter or this
