Pup It Up

I want to warn others about the horrific experience my dog Bruce, a gentle and mild-mannered Saint Bernard, had at Pup It Up during a grooming appointment on April 24, 2025. Initially scheduled via text for a simple $80 bath and brush, I was later informed the matting was too severe for that service unless I agreed to a $250 de-matting fee. After discussing it with my mother, we agreed that we did not want shaving—especially behind his ears—and agreed to the increased fee for proper de-matting. When Bruce returned home, he was visibly traumatized—panting, cowering under the table, and refusing to let anyone near his ears. I later discovered that, against our wishes and their own policy, Pup It Up shaved behind his ears, cutting him so badly it led to a severe, pus-filled infection. Bruce

I’ve been bringing my 2 dogs to this salon for a few years and always loved the care and attention we received. Unfortunately, since the change in ownership, the experience just hasn’t been the same. While the prices have stayed consistent, the quality of service has noticeably declined. There’s absolutely nothing wrong with new management—fresh perspectives can be great—but the standard of care and service shouldn’t change so drastically. Sadly, I just don’t feel as comfortable bringing my girls here anymore and will be looking for another grooming option. I hope things can improve.

I’ve been taking my dogs here for years now I started taking them here because I loved how they cut small dogs hair. I booked the appointment not knowing it had changed ownership and groomer. when picking them up noticed the changed no decorations no one in the lobby greeting you. When giving me my dogs they just opened the door and let them run and one of my dogs was let out without his collar good thing the door closed. They usually handed me my dogs. I didn’t feel welcomed coming in and the dogs usually got a scarf and smelled really nice. My dogs didn’t have any perfume on or the scarf I just feel it gave it a nice touch as well didn’t get the cut they usually get usually they get a teddy bear cut but it looks like they just got cut down with a clipper strait through no shape on their

Let me start by saying that they did a great job with his cut and although I did see a little cut in his belly I didn’t think much of it since I figured accidents do happen and my dog still gets nervous when he goes to the groomers. Now I’m not one to complain but it’s been weeks! And I’m so frustrated with this place. My dog is still not doing any better. I took him to the vet as soon as I saw the red spot in his scrotum that I noticed 2 days after he was groomed. I thought at first it was some kind of allergic reaction but it wasn’t. Our vet said this happens when they cut the hair too short in that area. His vet gave me some wipes to treat the area but that wasn’t working. Now he is on prednisone and doesn’t seem to be working either. All I know that this has been the most expensive gro
