Tabbi is skeptical about a lot of things, but the care she received from Dr. Barber and her staff isn't one of them. When an unexpected complication arose after surgery, Dr. Barber's team handled it quickly, efficiently, compassionately, and ultimately saved her life. They allowed us to stay with her for as long as we wanted, and were extremely reassuring throughout the whole process. We cannot recommend this clinic enough, and Dr. Baber has a patient for life!

I visited City Vet twice with great experiences in the past, but after this last time, I will never return. I scheduled an urgent care appointment for 2:00pm to have my kitty who was in distress from his diabetes see a doctor. When we arrived for the appointment we were greeted and put into a room. I was happy to see Dr. Barber in the back window as she had treated my kitty before. As my kitty was smelling around the room, the tech walked in and told me they would not be able to see my kitty for his problem and to go to the Vet ER and began naming ER's I could visit. When I explained I had an appointment and this was an issue Dr. Barber has seen him for before, she continued to instruct me to go to an ER and said they had too many sick pets in the back and could not care for mine. I had a fantastic experience at CitiVet. They treated my pet for an urgent walk in. They got her in quickly. Both the doctor and technician did a great job of helping us understand our options and explaining the treatment and aftercare. The price was reasonable, especially considering it was an urgent walk in on a Saturday. I highly recommend Citi Vet in Mansfield.

It’s clear that this vet clinic is not a true urgent care as they advertise themselves as and the employee that greeted us was only there for a paycheck. It was not even 6 pm on a Monday and my boyfriend and I came in carrying our little baby and a heavy-set Caucasian women came out to greet us. I explained to her that our baby had been seen there before and before I could explain what was going on with our baby she cut me off and asked if we had an appt and obviously we didn’t as they advertised as an urgent care that had extended hours. Then I said well she needs to be seen urgently and then she told me that it’s best if we went to an animal hospital. Needless to say I will not be coming back. My Daughter realized that her older dog that she's had since he was a puppy was very sick on New Year's Day. She also realized that not many vet places would be open but he was in such distress she knew she would have to find someone. She contacted City Vet in Mansfield Texas to advise that something was terribly wrong as he was breathing and panting and would not accept his favorite treat. Further examination showed that one of his legs was swollen although he had no fall or injury. (He's always been a house dog so they would know). She called CityVet and was told they could see him in a few hours at 4pm. She anxiousl awaited the time until 3:30pm and went in.
