Tried this place twice. My dog was cut extremely low the first time. So low that his skin was buzzed/pinched on his belly area. Things happen so I didn’t overreact. This time we requested his hair be left a little longer and he received the worst haircut ever. His tail and ears were never trimmed, his nails weren’t cut either. I was given the excuse that he was violent and tried biting the staff. As a barber, I understand not being able to deliver a perfect haircut to moving children/pets but the groomer didn’t even try. I wish I was called during the time he was “acting up” to try to settle him down. Instead I was called a few hours later and told that they were adding an additional charge because he was so difficult. It’s not about the money for me but rather the lack of effort and lack

Upstate Grooming is amazing! They do a great job with my 2 doodles. One of them does not like getting groomed, but they are always kind and welcoming, despite her sometimes irritated temperament. They are super talented, friendly and make my pups feel at ease. Thank you!!
