My absolute hands down go to for my babies. My girls are a bit ornery but the staff is sure to always treat them as their own and make us feel welcome. My oldest has suffered from allergies almost all her life(11 years). We had been to specialists and dermatologists, tried the medications, injections, soaps, sprays, foams, diet change..you name it. She has never had clearer better skin and quality of life than she does now. Everyone of my dogs has been seen here and I feel they take the time to truly get to know them and their concerns.

I have been referred to Prickly Pear Veterinary clinic by many friends and they were right! I only regret not having come sooner. They treated the stray cat that I brought in so well and even went out of their way to remove rotten teeth without charge! No other veterinary clinic would do that. They cleaned his leg wound, shaved and treated it, got him neutered and kept me below my budget. I am beyond grateful to Dr. Morris and her staff! Amanda was so attentive and kind. I am bringing my cats to her from now on.

Avoid Prickly Pear Veterinary Hospital if you actually love your pets. This was our clinic, but their negligence and refusal to provide timely care is the direct reason our dog is dead. When making appointments, they never have anything same week (forget about same day) – so when an issue with my dog arose… we made a 3 week out appointment with the hopes of getting in sooner with someone else’s cancellation. We spent an entire week calling every single day, begging for help as our dog’s condition deteriorated into life threating emergency. Their only response? "Wait three weeks" or "try somewhere else." By the end of week 1 - we had over 5 appointments with other clinics for the following week (earliest those clinics could see us which was still a week before Prickly Pear). By week tw

They did great with the feral I brought in. However, I brought my 13yo cat to them (I was considering switching vets due to cost) and they missed a large tumor that took his life four days later. Instead, they said he was fine and suggested we give him a $90 arthritis injection that was unnecessary and unhelpful. When he crashed 4 days after his appointment, they refused to see him. Editing to add my response: When an animal is sick, it's not "overstepping", it's taking care of patients who are in need of more immediate attention. And yes, I'm aware that blood work could have revealed the cancer (though it sounded as though kidney disease was the primary condition being considered), though it's questionable as to whether it would have been back in time for us to know. I'm still unclear h
