Presque Isle Animal Hospital

My 3 fur babies have been here all their life. They’ve helped my cat with some skin problems he was having and also gave good information on what not to use for brushes (ferminator brush is no good for cats if used frequently) and he’s been great ever since. My little doodle has been growing and dealing with a lot of sensitivities. They’ve been helpful with educating and reassuring (the vet she saw stated she also had a doodle) so I knew I was getting good information. The only thing I was slightly concerned with was that I was able to use process of elimination to figure out that she’s allergic to chicken. Times I’ve called with some concerns (upset belly) I’ve been told to give her chicken and rice. It makes me wonder a little if they check the chart or if it’s even noted that she can’t

The doctors and the staff are excellent. They work with owners. They truly care about our pets. We have had nothing but great experience with this office. I highly Recommend this office for your pets.

My first comment is to the other reviewers. Sorry you had to experience the same thing that so many others have. The "letter" which appears to be a template that is modified to suit the "client". (image of letter is included) 1st Point: We were not clients for "a couple of years". December 2024 until April 2025 2nd Point:The disagreement that was indicated, was about a medication that was being prescribed "off label". When we contacted the pharmaceutical company about this, we were informed that drug was only proven safe by them based on the dose in the documentation included with the medication. Wonderful vet and staff. Their compassion when my cat had to be euthanized was so appreciated. They truly care for animals.

Dr. Cook and Dr. Annie and their staff are amazing! I would not consider having a pet and not having Presque Isle Animal hospital as their providers. Everybody from the front desk, to the techs, nurses, every single person involved in the treatment of your pet is top-notch! We have a service dog in training, and they have been absolutely wonderful with him since the very beginning. Highly recommend.
