Prairieville Animal Hospital

Prairieville Animal Hospital is absolutely wonderful! Dr. Fruge is warm, personable, and genuinely cares about both my pet’s well-being and my own peace of mind. The entire staff is compassionate, responsive, and incredibly accommodating. They always get me in quickly when something is urgent and are so prompt with appointment scheduling and medication refills. I truly feel supported and cared for here. I love this clinic and am so grateful I made the switch — best decision for my pet’s care!

We have used this vet office previously with no complaints. Today was a waste of time. I arrived at 9:40 with my large dog and two young children (1 & 4) for a 10am appointment time. We checked in with front desk (I did not write our name on the sheet because my hands were full with a dog leash and baby, but I said as much to the receptionist) and waited for our turn. During our long time in the waiting area, there was a family putting down a dog that was noticeably upset as well as other patients who were seen. We saw several people come in, get seen, and leave after a complete appointment. One of these previous appointments even noticed we were still waiting. The vet takes care of both of my granpups. They are very honest with diagnosis and never try to push things that are not necessary or needed at the time. Always have appointments available day of needed services.

Fantastic Vet and Staff! Finding a vet you trust is so important, and we've definitely found that with Dr. Victor at Prairieville Animal Hospital. He was so kind and patient with my dog and with me. What I appreciated most was how he took the time to explain everything in detail, making me feel confident and informed about the care my dog was receiving. The whole staff was wonderful and the clinic itself is so clean. I wholeheartedly recommend them to any pet parent in the area!

We sat in the comfortable waiting room and was called back quickly. Everyone was kind and compassionate to my little dog who was shivering. This is the only vet office that I will trust with my precious Tiger.
