Let me first start of by saying my first experience with Powder Ridge was absolutely phenomenal. I have a cat who has had a rash for several weeks now. I had an appointment and had a very short wait until I was called in and greeted by the amazing technician Jess. She told me in detail what to expect for my visit. Allowed time to allow my cat to warm up to her before going to get Dr. Carey who is also amazing. They definitely assured me my fur baby was going to be okay. They answered all my questions and I left there with no worries. People are always worried about pricing but they are very reasonable and even included a complimentary nail trimming. I think we have found our forever vet home. Thanks Jess, Dr. Carey and Powder Ridge!!

I’ve been visiting powder ridge with my senior samoyed Tia. I chose to visit this vet due to her veterinarian Dr.Reeves switching clinics, Tia has been with him for 13 years and I assumed the switch would benefit myself and my beloved dog. My experience was positive up until my visit today which was only to receive a shot for her arthritis pain. It was a visit that should have been quick and easy. Upon arrival the tech demanded that they put a choke collar on her as we were waiting at the visiting room door. They said it is policy to put on the choke collar which restricts when the animals pulls away or someone pulls the animal and is used to create slight pain in order to control an animal. My dog tia is elderly and has pain as is not to mention she is extremely well behaved and docile. I

Horrible experience here. My cat now hates the vet because they put him through hell. They were not prepared to handle my kitty then muzzled him after holding him down for 15 minutes. Just to put ear drops in. Extremely overpriced. $900 for a neuter. Other places it’s under $500. They charge you $75 for $10 eye/ear drops you can buy online same thing. The head Vet talked down to me because I was questioning why they wanted to give my 10 pound cat over 100 mlg of gabapentin and add on Trazadone. Pushing meds onto my cat and getting angry when I question. My cat scratched the Vet and she told me she has to now get checked out by the doctor on Her lunch break because My cat scratched her. Great service My cat needed surgery to remove bladder stones, and I couldn't afford the prices at most surgical centers, including with our primary office. Powder Ridge fit us in within a week, did the tests in the same appointment, and got my cat scheduled for surgery within 2 weeks. My cat did great coming out of surgery, and they babied him all day. They also gave super clear instructions, and at his follow up visit the vet took great care to answer all of my questions - big and small. The staff at the desk, the techs, and the vets I saw were all top tier. Friendly, considerate, helpful, and receptive when I had questions or concerns. They're everything you want in an office and now my cat is on the road to recovery in comfort. I'm endlessly thankful.

we had just got a new puppy and wanted her seen as soon as possible- powder ridge was the only area vet that could see us within 2 weeks. all of the staff were so friendly and so great with our puppy! we got a ton of helpful information & were able to troubleshoot and treat an ear problem right then and there too. we definitely found our permanent family vet practice!
