My experience with Positive Pets and my trainer Ayla was so amazing! I can't say enough good things about Ayla ,she was truly the best! She was exceptional with her patience & guidance that she gave my girl River and I. You can tell she really enjoyed her job and what she was doing. Her feedback also on what she does with her own dogs really helped me succeed, with such a well behaved dog after my girl graduated. I went with the private training and the 4 hour package. I liked how we did an hour the first class, but then it was split up into 30 min weekly classes. Ayla gave us homework and notes which really made a huge difference with my success with my girl, and her training concept worked so well for me. You have to keep in mind of course you have to do the work and practice at hom

I can’t recommend Positive Pets enough for dog training! I brought my 9-month-old puppy, Messy, in to work on recall, sit, stay, and jumping, and the results were immediate. Donny was fantastic—he truly understands dog psychology and how owner actions impact behavior. He offered a great deal in short, highly effective 1:1 courses and went above and beyond by providing follow-up videos and written instructions so we could stay consistent at home. The entire staff is incredibly kind and patient. If you need a trainer who genuinely cares, this is the place!"

We rescued our Boxer in February and he was practically perfect except for some reactivity issues. The first time I walked him he barked and lunged at any and every dog. We live in a dog filled neighborhood. I felt defeated and heartbroken that I couldn't trust him. We started at Positive Pets with a group class and that proved to be too much for our boy. After calling and speaking with Tas, we decided on private all day classes. Again, he did great, but I still couldn't trust him out in public. On our last day of training, Devin came to our house and walked with us around our neighborhood. He gave me the confidence to walk our boy. That was November 1st. Now, we walk every day with no issues! He pays little to no attention to dogs. It took a lot of practice on my part, but I put in the wo

We just finished the first part of training with Positive Pets Dog Training. We worked with Taz and she was awesome to work with. Everybody I have interacted with there has been friendly and wanting to help. The training is just right for us. I love their philosophy for dog training. The dogs get trained, but in a much more positive way than somewhere I went in Boise years ago. And it is more effective too. They care about the dogs here.

We did the 5-week Superdog program with our crazy 6 month old duck toller and are loving the results! The biggest improvements we’ve seen are with loose leash walking and starting off-leash recall. Our private lessons were with Devin and Ayla, both who were very helpful in answering questions and providing feedback. We really liked the homework/information sheets that were given so we could reference them throughout the week when training at home. We are very excited to move on to distraction classes and advanced obedience with Positive Pets!
