Positive Interactions Dog Behavior and Training, LLC

We had a wonderful experience working with Colleen. We have two older dogs who went through a few behavioral changes and had some scuffles that really worried us. Working with Colleen helped us learn to recognize their behavior cues and how to redirect them using positive reinforcement. She gave me the confidence and resources to trust in my training skills, so our dogs can live peacefully together in a calm way, while also teaching us how to meet their needs. We’re truly grateful for her knowledge and patience, and we would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for guidance with their dogs. You're in great hands!

Colleen has been amazing with our 2 rescue dogs that have many issues based in anxiety. She has been patient and informative. They look forward to her coming over and working with them and so do we. She has given us tools to help them inside when they are anxious and outside when walking on a leash. We highly recommend Colleen. She really understands our furry babies and has been great with understanding our needs and the needs of our family and how we can all work together. 10/10 stars!!!

My dog is a medium-sized Havanese mix with a feisty, playful, and protective personality. He has always been reactive, and it became more intense after we moved. Though he’s friendly once comfortable, he's is not with strangers and is aggressive toward anyone who reaches towards him. He is also easily triggered by dogs, wheels, runners, children, and sudden noises. Colleen has been wonderful with him. She was patient, quickly learned his temperament, and adjusted his training to fit his needs. My dog is still a work in progress, but I’ve already seen a big improvement. His reactivity on walks has decreased, and he’s calmer in stressful situations. I’m very grateful for Colleen’s guidance in helping build his confidence and improve his behavior

Working with Colleen was great. Definitely would recommend if you’re looking for a 1:1 trainer that teaches positive reinforcement. Our schnauzer puppy learned a lot!

I’ve had dogs my entire life, but never had one that regular puppy training wasn’t enough for, or that had any issues with being approached and pet by other people. Well, we recently ended up adopting a puppy that has turned out to be a handful, and we can only assume he will be one for the rest of his life. He is very people shy and leash reactive on walks, but working with Colleen has provided us with a lot of information and tools which have already helped us enormously with his behavior, and which will continue to help us throughout his life. If you are reading this review, it’s likely because you’ve ended up with a less than ‘perfect’ dog and I do feel for you, you have work ahead of you, but they are worth the work, and starting out with hiring Colleen is an excellent, and highly rec
