Pooch Hotel Norwalk

Had this been a few years ago, I would have easily given a solid review. The level of service has significantly diminished and I will never bring my dogs there again. After a recent two-day boarding, I picked my dog up with a significant injury, accompanied by several lies as to how it happened, no phone call or forewarning, an unexpected vet bill, and was given an incorrect email address for a regional manager. It’s unacceptable. I will try Spot on Vet or continue with in-home sitters when I can.

The best!! Mr. Crowley has never been a fan of grooming time. Julia and Max are fantastic and make him comfortable and relaxed. You cannot ask for better!

Place has really gone downhill. Service is awful. Reservations got cancelled with no phone call or warning less than a week in advance of our booking. Everyone I got on the phone was unhelpful- if they even answered the phone. Had to call 6 times. It was a blessing in disguise my reservation cancelled I guess because a friend of ours recently went there and had a horrendous experience with her pups getting sick. Sad it’s such a mess now.

It is now time for my 5th review and one can write unendingly about things dear and precious. For a number of reasons, I have had to look at the competitors of Pooch Hotel, and the differentiators, whilst unique and well-documented, bear repetition and emphasis…. - Pricing (hands-down less than competitors which is simply miraculous) - 24/7 availability - White-glove customer service (updates, webcams et al) - Health and safety of pups The much-bandied family theme needs to be highlighted again - Pepper (soul only now alas!) and Morti (body and soul) owe debts of gratitude which cannot be gainsaid and I can but try to verbalize my emotions… The list of names changes a bit every year, but Pooch Hotel never does. Such a welcoming place for canine and human. While visiting my family in Norwalk,CT we needed a place for Brody to stay overnight. Pooch Hotel was it. He came home happy! Next time visiting , Brody will definitely go again. Teri L Cape, Coral Florida
