A huge thank you to Dr. Teresa Micco for helping me & my husband guide our sweet old lady of fourteen in a half years across the rainbow bridge & genuinely helping us ALL feel so at peace we were all falling asleep as we waited for her to step in. I appreciate the extra time we got with our sweet angel but sadly as much as we wish our loved ones were eternal there has to come a day when we have to say our hardest goodbye. Thank you for not making us feel uncomfortable nor uneasy during our hard times we hope to be back soon for different reasons & thank you for helping us trust again. Even tho the foot prints and stone were purchases we made on our own through another service just wanted to share on here to show how impactful Aurora’s life was to all of us. 🕊️❤️ RIP Aurora 11.01.2025

If you’re looking for a fantastic animal hospital in Rancho Palos Verdes, this is the one. We moved to the area in 2021 and had no trouble establishing ourselves as regular clients. From day one, every single person—front and back of house—was kind, professional, and truly cared about both our pets and us. Our German Shepherd, Ellie, has major anxiety and chronic allergies, and the team treated her with incredible compassion and patience. Special thanks to Dr. Jones, who went above and beyond during one of Ellie’s worst allergy flare-ups in the summer of 2023. It took months of trial and error, but Dr. Jones stuck with us the whole way, answered all our (many!) questions, and helped us finally find the right mix of meds and shampoo. We recently moved to this area and, out of necessity, had to find a new veterinary clinic. Over the past month we’ve already visited this hospital three times, and the experience has been excellent. After one of the procedures, doctor Iana Strakh personally called us the next day to check on how our pet was doing — something we really appreciated. The veterinarians here seem genuinely focused on the well-being of the animals, giving thoughtful recommendations on food and vaccinations based on our pet’s actual health, not just to sell something. We’re very glad we switched to this clinic and feel confident bringing our pet here.

Coming here as long as I did was my worst mistake. I started coming here with my cats in 2018. I should have known something was off when they would never mail happy birthday cards like the other vets. To make a long story short, my cat had been dealing with a chronic infection/benign polyp that I was told was nothing to worry about and I was actually talked out of requesting x-rays by Dr. Jones because she explained I had nothing to worry about. Not once did she mention the potential this had to become cancerous. The polyp was red and beginning to grow rapidly. This is where Dr.Micco had the opportunity to refer us to a specialist and she didn’t. Her advice was to just keep bringing him back in.($$$) Eventually, I did seek a second opinion elsewhere, and I was immediately referred to a D

Point Vicente Animal Hospital has been an absolute godsend for my pup and I. We travel internationally often, and Dawn has done nothing short of a stellar job every single time we’ve needed paperwork done. The entire team has handled my pup with immense compassion and a true passion for taking care of the animals they serve. We love Point Vicente, and will remain loyal clients for all of our pets!
