I like Centinela Feed Store on Western Ave, Rancho Palos Verdes. They're the cheapest self dog wash around the south bay (Torrance, Palos Verdes, Lomita) area, that I have found. It use to cost us $10.00 for a self-wash. Now everyone wants around $20.00 Centinela only charges $15.00 and they have a 5 wash plan for $60.00. I can't speak on the shampoos and conditioners because I bring my own as theirs seem very watery. They also have thicker, bigger towels than most of these other places, and they have hand towels to wash your fur babies face and ears. I only wish they had at least 2 griming tables instead of just one. They do have around 4 driers but only one with a table as it's very difficult to dry a little dog on the floor because you have to stay bent over, or wait for the one grommi

The dog wash has really deteriorated in its quality and safety. They are no longer tethers, meaning my dog can jump out of the tubs. One of the 4 tubs is missing the ramp that allows dogs to safely walk into and out of the tub. The nozzle on one of the 4 dryers is chipped, leaving sharp edges on it. Seeing how unsafe the dog washing station has become, I will be taking my dog elsewhere.

The election is ok. The only reason is they don't carry my flavor of open farm, but mainly.i go for the self wash!

I have been going to self dog wash for a few years. It’s always been great, but the last 3 times I’ve been there has been no hot water at all. First time I let it go. Second time I complained and was told the entire shopping complex had no hot water and they gave me a free wash. Today I had it and complained to the manager. Her answer to me was “you run out of hot water at home. That’s how plumbing works”. I told her that was the stores issue and not the consumers. After her going on to tell me her dad used to tell her to not use all the hot water I asked for a free wash. She had a bad attitude about that but finally gave me one. Guess I won’t go on weekends if I want my dog to experience a bath with warm water.
