Went here to have my dog put down as I was told she had gall bladder, liver issues and now was unable to walk. Dr. Barnhardt was rude, tried telling me that I fed her too much and I was the reason for all of her issues. Tried talking me out of putting her down. I have never seen this vet before. Always have used Pleasant’s before as Jim ( the original vet/owner was fantastic). The staff was terrific, it was just this vet! It was hard enough to say goodbye to Mali, but to be put down and thru this is unacceptable and unprofessional. To be told I was such a bad dog mom—- my heart is just shattered.

I think it's horrible how my friend Amy Smith and family was treated about their beloved dog Mali. I want to ask...have you sent every person with a poor review a letter? I think not. When someone brings in their pet to sadly lay to rest, you respect that and never be negative as you had done to Amy. You do not know ones life and what they have gone through or maybe how they struggle with depression and their pets mean everything to them. How dare you. I too have used your Vet office. I adopted a cat through you and how you treated me when I wanted further x-rays after you suggested an amputation of a leg. Thank God I took him elsewhere. Now I can say his leg healed and he still has all 4. So shame on your Vet and establishment on how you think you have the right to treat others. Just beca

Very nice staff. Doc was cold but they're a doctor and that sometimes comes with the territory. They helped and it wasn't as expensive as other vets in this county. I appreciated their info and their ability to help our feline companion.

Took my goat to them. They did absolutely nothing just watched him. Gave penicillin and steroid. Sent him home. I'm so glad I called another vet with some sense. She saved my goats life. Pleasants is the very last vet I'll call

My mom brought our 14 year old family dog here to be euthanized. First of all almost immediately upon arrival my dog was almost attacked by another dog and none of the staff even mentioned the incident to us let alone apologized. The staff was rude and very unprofessional. Showed no compassion what so ever. Then tried to claim that our dog didn’t need to be put down as she was struggling to stand and walk. Tried to charge us more than they had originally quoted over the phone. Needless to say we took her to another vet where she was treated kindly and we were treated with kindness and respect. They made her very comfortable and offered to pay for $125 of her euthanasia costs and covered the costs of her cremation and are having her ashes returned to us at no cost. That being said I highly
