Ashtabula County Animal Protective League

My family went in looking for some furry friends to add to our family. We were looking for a small breed dog, and Lori brought us out 2! They were the cutest and sweetest Pomeranians, Lemon and Lime. We went back the next day to see them again with the whole family and they won us all over. Everything was smooth for the adoption process.

I adopted a cat last Feb. after my husband past away to keep me company. She's the most loving cat ever. Staff was great and eager to help me. ♥️♥️♥️😽

Very poorly ran organization. I had an meet and greet scheduled for this past weekend, they called the day before and canceled due to a kennel sickness. Said they would reschedule in a few days. They lied to me about the sickness and adopted out the dog to someone else the next day. Will never adopt or donate to the APL again.

Dirty smelly unkept...can't view dogs.......... You have to pick dog on line then apply to see the dog......how stupid not to be able to see all the dogs to get a better connection

We adopted a senior dog years ago from here and it was a complete hassle. Due to being double capacity we decided to go there and see about adopting a dog. Drive from Madisin and get there and are told they don't allow people to walk through and look at dogs. What? How do you get a feel for dogs without seeing them? Told we can go online and look at the pics and they can bring them up. Absurd. We went to 5 shelters last weekend and never heard of such a ridiculous policy and then want community help due to being double capacity.
