Great Staff, Crippled Process - The New Pre-Registration Hurts Efficiency PetVet Clinic is my favorite way to microchip my pets because it allows me to keep them all on the same brand. The staff is consistently absolutely amazing, and I am genuinely grateful for their services. The Issue: The New Process This service used to be $25 for microchipping and was a simple first-come, first-served walk-in. It was a fast, efficient system that saved me $40+ per pet at my regular vet. I'd show up slightly early and be seen within 45 minutes tops. Unfortunately, the introduction of the online pre-registration has severely crippled the service: It is no longer first-come, first-served, and walk-ins are often unable to be seen. The old system was more efficient: customers with multiple pets w
Disorganized, impatient, meds overpriced, Dr was not friendly and short, likely from the disorganization, check-in guy was trying but again, the disorganization made it difficult, the que blocked isles and although my pups are friendly it makes them nervous going to the doctor just like anybody else and then throw in unknown dogs and people. It's a disaster waiting to happen for some pet parent. Services and meds where overpriced for what it is in my opinion.
I took my 71# mixed breed dog in to get a heartworm test on 9/14/25. First of all, the new method of seeing patients needs work... it created some confusion. Next, the person attempting to get a blood sample had difficulty finding a vein and stuck him twice before asking for help from a more experienced tech, so 3 stabs altogether. My dog is big but I could tell he was uncomfortable with the procedure. The last thing that was annoying was at checkout, I thought $49 was a bit much for only one test.
I need an itemized description of what my pet received
