PetSmart

Came in at closing time. Walking in, I found it to be an inferior competitor to Pet Food Express. However, a young lady was informatively helpful for my question regarding my puppy’s naughty chewing habits. The Roam large ostrich bone wound up to be a Christmas Miracle. Later I tried the Roam boar bone but I seriously would NOT recommend that because my puppy destroyed it to pebbles, but the ostrich bone is great while it still interests her.

My dog loves attending Doggy Day Camp. I don't know how they get him to hold still for these pictures but I have one for every season. He gets the socialization he needs here and a coupon book for mom to buy him treats

This visit sealed it. I won’t be returning to PetSmart. I came to this location to pick up a dog collar and a custom dog tag I had already spent about ten minutes designing online. Once in the store, it took a while just to find someone who could help. When we finally located the tag, it was blank. I was told that despite customizing it online, I was expected to engrave it myself on an in-store machine. The machine then asked for a code I wasn’t given. The employee spent several minutes tracking it down, only to find it was the wrong code. More time passed before the correct one surfaced. Eventually, I figured out how to use the self-service engraver and completed the tag myself. Then came checkout, complete with the same insistence on name and phone number for a simple purchase. Petco wouldn't sell us any fish, the aquatics were closed and they only had 2 people working they were super rude. We called Petsmart and asked if they were still open and they said they usually close the aquatics an hour before closing but they would still sell us some. The manager was super nice and helpful! Thank you!

The cashier and the employee restocking products were very rude and unfriendly. There was no greeting, no willingness to help, and their attitude made the experience very unpleasant. Customer service definitely needs improvement.
