PetSmart

We go to the PetSmart grooming center in Pinole and absolutely love it. My mini poodle, who is usually quite anxious, has grown comfortable visiting. The grooming staff are great and know what they're doing. Our pup has never looked cuter. Shout out to Patricia and the grooming magic she performs!

Never seen worst taken care of betas. They are all in dirty water and some were floating at the top basically dead already. I felt bad and took one home. He couldn’t eat anything & was puking it back up. Stay in the corner even though I have a beautiful planted tank. Died 3 days later. Sales rep was very unsympathetic and aggressive when I tried to talk she just started screaming at me “WHERE IS YOUR DEAD FISH?” So I’ve added a picture for us all to look at my “dead fish” Honestly a completely inappropriate way to respond to anyone in a position of loss and grief especially at her elderly age I would expect more respect in handling this sensitive situation. If you don’t care about animals please don’t work at a pet store.

Groomers cut my dog with clippers all over with what looks like no guard , on his belly, paws, neck, and sides. I can tell they started shaving his chest with no guard, and then must of put one on so it’s very patchy. Then it looks like they started shaving his tail and gave up. They said I’d have to come back in 2 weeks to get it finished. Store needs to hire more experienced and professional groomers. There’s no reason why my dog should have cuts all over his body.

We miss Anjelica in the grooming salon. There is a tendency to overbook and it takes a long time. Be wary if you have a nervous dog, they will sit in a kennel for 3-5 hours before they are groomed. Ricardo is very nice and does an excellent job as well, but some of the stylists were rude when I went to pick my pup up. Will be taking our pup elsewhere for grooming going forward.

I get all my puppy stuff here. I love that I can earn rewards and eventually get one of his $90 bags of food for free!!
