PetSmart

1st time coming here today 10-08-2025 to this PetSmart location. The manager Kim was extremely helpful & quite friendly . Had to pick - up an ( in - store ) , purchase and Kim helped me with that and along with an exchange. The only reason for the 4 stats is because of the very pungent smell , I instantly smelt it as I entered the door . And it progressively got worse throughout walking around the store. The layout is quite different compared to other PetSmart locations. Not a huge fan of the layout here. They were marking down a decent amount of Halloween stuff and if you ordered on- line or curbside pickup you can get an additional 20% off " only " if your an PetSmart rewards member . I do prefer shopping and purchasing items at PetSmart in general because there much more affordable t

So disappointed with the associates at this store went in to buy a hamster ended up leaving with out it we asked for help in small animals immediately we were questioned on whether we had a proper set up for a hamster (we do) have had them all my life I have a 20 gallon tank and a 40 gallon breeder tank we have shavings food water bottles and feed cups little huts everything ready to go they wouldn’t sell us the hamster because I told them I had to put put the things in it when I got the hamster home I live 5 towns away he wanted me to go home set it up and come back for the hamster so I said no I want to buy it now it’ll take me 5 mins to put the shavings food and water in he would not sell me the hamster 🤦🏻‍♀️ Well we ended up at petco in shrewsbury they were great and we got a new littl

Unfortunately I must write a negative review for this location due to the mismanagement and staffing problems in the grooming salon. My dog requires frequent grooming. If you miss grooming appointments the dog may need to be shaved. Today we got a call THE MORNING of our appointment that our appointment was cancelled again (the second time it's been cancelled in the last month) and that the only available appointment would be a week from now. When I asked why "Matt" (who declined to give his last name) claimed that the staff member was getting surgery. Ok, so presumably you knew about the surgery before I was about to get in my car and head over? Then when I was complaining he said "you are prioritizing your dog over our staff members surgery". I brought my pibble girl Mabel to see the groomers today to get her nails trimmed. It was my first time there. I usually bring her to Petco in RI where I live (I commute about an hour to work) because it's convenient and they do a great job. When I brought her in, all of the staff, from cashier to the groomers and everyone in between welcomed her like they have known her forever. It was so heartwarming to see. Genuinely made my heart flutter. Mabel is a shy girl and she felt so comfortable with Gab. I will definitely be bringing her in on my lunch breaks more often. Thank you so SO much.

Our Old English Sheepdog loves his groomer, Jill. Jill loves him, and we love Jill! Old English Sheepdogs are Wigglebutts and Jill never has a complaint. And Tenny always looks great!. We ordered the full salon treatment (nails ground, teeth brushed, ears plucked) and no products with fragrance. PetSmart Grooming offers a 10% Senior discount for members every Tuesday, which is very helpful as a retiree. Of course, we always tip on the total before the discount. We have used "chainstore" groomers and independents, too. I feel that Jill treats Tenny as her client and not just as a 'number'.
