Today I've taken my cockapoo to the Mohegan Lake pet Smart for a hair cut and bath. This is my 7th time going there. I drop my dog off at 9am and get a call at 10:45am to pick him up. When i arrived for my dog he was unrecognizable because all his hair was cut off. if it wasn't for my dogs love for me I would have never known he was my dog. I questioned the manager and the manager said they had to cut his hair off because it was too knotty. I wanted to speak with the girl who cut his hair but was told she left. After getting in the car we realized he smelled very bad. I went back in and informed the manager his ears wasn't cleaned, he didn't get a bath and he smelled like poop. The manager tried to make things right and schedule the dog for a bath next week. WHY NOT GIVE HIM A BATH TODAY!

I love this pet store in Mohegan Lake. Every time I go in there are very nice and they helped me. There was a girl there that recently helped me get my hamster. I absolutely I’m overwhelmed with Appreciation being that I didn’t really know too much about hamsters She was very kind to me and helped me out. I got everything the cage everything. I named her Moka Chino. (I’m an animal lover, !) every time I go in there, I’m always treated with respect sometimes I have to find someone but when I do, they are welcoming and very nice . To the last lady that helped me get my hamster thank you so much. You were very kind and my hamster is a great part of the family.👍🏼

If I could give a negative star- I would. I should’ve known better than to BRING MY DOG BACK HERE, after the first 2 times when they sent him away and literally called him “crazy”. Who says that to a dog mother. Shameful. They claimed my dog who’s never been aggressive- bit the groomer and pooped / peed , therefore deeming him “distressed” and stopped midway- service. They rendered no service and legit left us with a dog who looks disabled (respectfully). Absolutely terrible. Very dissatisfied and disappointed. Oh and to add insult to injury they told me they suggest or recommend going to a vet from now on and won’t be accepting him! Shameful. Vibe never experienced this sort of thing from pet supply plus. I have been bringing my pets here for years now, the grooming department is just getting worst. I brought my dog to get her nail cut at 10:15 am. The women behind the counter told me she was busy could I come back later. I said ok fine what time should I come back she says 1:30pm. I return back at 1:32 pm. I am literally waiting nobody even acknowledge me, then finally at 1:50pm another lady ask do I have any appointment. I explained everything and told her I was told to return at 1:30. She went to the back , then returned and stated to me the other groomer is busy can I wait 10 minutes. I said fine, then not even five minutes after she states can you come back tomorrow. So unprofessional I will never return.

HORRIBLE service. I had to take my baby girl back to them four times! Once because they screwed up her haircut and then back again for them to “fix it” , the third time because they didn’t cut her paws or made us aware that her declaw was grown out to the point where it became an ingrown! Thank GOD she wasn’t in any pain or displaying any signs of discomfort. They told us since it had been sometime since her cut , there was nothing that we would do about. My sister just happens to be a paramedic and was able to correct the issue without us having to go spend hundreds of dollars at a vet correcting Petsmart incompetence. These people took no accountability, and claimed that didn’t know she had a dewclaw; which leads me to believe they didn’t thoroughly cut of my dog the first or second ti
