This is by far the best vet I've visited not only to me, but to my pet as well. They genuinely showed interest & care in her well being. They took their time getting her to trust them & were very thorough in making sure she was taken care of. I can not say enough good things about them. They are also very genuine when it comes to diagnosing & they don’t try to overcharge with unnecessary tests & medication. Definitely will be making them my pet’s regular vet.

We have a very nervous dog whom we have put a lot of effort into helping over the years, however as with many pets going to the vet is still difficult. It makes all the difference in the world if the veterinary staff understands anxious dogs and are able to take the appointment slowly while avoiding crowding him as much as possible. The staff here was perfect in that regard. I have moved a lot and seen a lot of vets over the years, so I feel confident in saying the level of care they offer here is well above average. I would definitely recommend this clinic to anyone with nervous pets.

Walking into Mohegan Lake veterinary hospital is like stepping into a relaxed, loving environment. Every staff person is sweet, personable and warm. From the front desk to all the techs and Drs. Belvedere and Lavigne. The reception area is bright, clean and inviting. There’s a joy here. Always a warm welcome. I feel confident in the care and diligence of the vets. I’ve had both my older cat treated here as well as my 13 year old Maltese. They receive(d) the most loving, expert care. I wholeheartedly endorse this practice and encourage pet owners to visit and consider Mohegan Lake veterinary hospital for their pets care.

I feel incredibly fortunate to have such an outstanding veterinary clinic in our community. The team not only provided exceptional, compassionate routine care for my late dog Ash, but they were also instrumental in detecting his osteosarcoma early. Catching the cancer in its early stages was truly a blessing. It gave us the chance to fully understand his condition, consider our treatment options, and ultimately provide Ash with the most loving, thoughtful end-of-life care. Thanks to their expertise, we were able to enjoy eight more cherished months with Ash, keeping him comfortable and engaged right up until his final moments. We had an emergency with our dog. We called the office, explained the problem, and they got us in that day. This was our first visit. We were very happily surprised. Everyone, from the receptionist, the assistants, the vet techs and the doctor could not have been nicer, kinder or more gentle. And Dr. Lavigne called us first thing the next morning to follow up. We hope it's like this everytime. We will come back. Thank you to everyone for treating our fur baby so wonderfully.
