My dog Xena and I take walks at night, and today was no different. I like to take her off her leash so she can run freely through a grassy field next to a walking trail in my community. She usually comes back to me when I call out for her, but this time, she ignored me. I finally located her, and I noticed she was chasing a skunk! I was screaming her name, but she would not stop pursuing the skunk until the inevitable happened. She was skunked! She ran back to me, looking stunned, squinting her eyes. I could smell her 6ft away. That skunk got her good. I ran back to my house and rinsed her off in my backyard, ensuring I cleaned her eyes. The smell was strong, and nothing was helping. I searched for special shampoos on the web, and it showed that my local PetSmart had the product I needed,

Overall experience after first 2 visits had been good! First visit got a discount offered because of the timing of the day. The second visit Military discount ONLY offered on TUES NOT WED THE DAY I HAD MY APPOINTMENT FOR! That policy needs to change!!! Had to change technician because of it! Heather who did my first 2 grooms was excellent!

Despite doing weeks of research on compatible fish and setting up aquarium a month in advance. An overzealous employee refused to sell us all the fish we needed for our habitat. We had go to multiple stores because he acted like he knew better than the whole of the internet and fish experts who set up hundreds of tanks.

We’ve taken our cat here about 5-6 times now for bath, never had an issue with the cat. However 3 times they’ve sent us home and told us to come back another day because there are so many dogs. Fine we understand but then we try scheduling on a Monday like they suggested… yet there is no appointments available for any Monday. So we try a Thursday, the soonest day before weekend that is available. When we arrive the groomers sent us home because too many dogs. I don’t have all day to be going back and forth bringing my cat seeing if the groomer feels like doing the bath that day. I would like to add the groomer does not seem experienced enough to be grooming cats. She grabbed the carrier from the bottom and shook our cat out. Update 6-8-25 : Updating my review to 3 stars after receiving great follow-up service. Manager Nick went above and beyond to address the poor experience I previously had--he issued a full refund for both of my dogs and offered a complimentary wash and cut to make things right. Way better alternative than Kenny's approved 10% discount. His lead stylist did an excellent job working with the botched cuts left by the previous employees. While my dogs' hair had to be trimmed a bit shorter to fix the issues, they now look much better. I really appreciate Nick's professionalism and willingness to resolve the situation. This kind of service shows they do care about their customers--just wish it had been done right the first time. AVOID JADEA AND LEA LIKE THE PLAGUE. I used to be a VIPP member
