The staff here are always exceptional! We took our big dog to be groomed for the first time and, as he is a rescue, he was very nervous and spooked by other dogs. When we expressed concern about walking him back out of the store our groomer personally walked him out herself using some training techniques to keep our dog safe and under control. She did a great job with the groom and nail trim bit that extra help meant the world to us. The checkout staff are always friendly and quick! Any time I've had a question or needed help the worker has been kind and thorough. The people here clearly love pets and the people who care for them.

0 stars. We walked in asked for 2 49¢ goldfish and a snail, for our son. The lady helping us asked how big our tank was. Which we replied 10 gallons. She says to us your tank is to small, we don’t sell fish to people for them to die. Sorry we can seek you any fish today, and walked away. Terrible service. Terrible people skills.

Make sure you buy a collar and leash so you can walk your 49 cent fish because it’s a living thing(obviously) and if you have a small tank, don’t expect to be able to buy even a damn snail. They will refuse to sell you anything if you have a smaller tank. Never dealt with that before but only in midland. 🤣

Midland PetSmart, Store is typically stocked & clean & personnel is always friendly! I Give 5-stars for that! -BUT? They have no business selling reptiles smh. The man that sold us our baby bearded dragon had no clue what he was doing. He had us buy over 400$ of products (not including price of 40 gallon tank @250$) for things completely not needed. Wrong lighting. Wrong substrate. Wrong vitamin. Wrong hides. We did research before going in to buy him, But when we were in store? The man kept telling us the opposite. & someone that’s working with & selling reptiles? Should be experienced or taught about reptiles first.
