My son's and I try to make a weekly stop here for fish typically on a saturday. Staff is friendly,polite and knowledgeable. Craig,Arielle and another girl , whose name I dont know, do a good job and are friendly and helpful. Don't know everyone else's name yet, but most of them are fine. I read some reviewers that have issues with mortality rate of fish from here. We have multiple fish from years ago when my youngest son set up his 36. 90 percent of my fish from here are at least 6 months since purchase and fine. Be cautious buying a top fin tank here though. As per other reviews, my son's 36 gallon bow front started leaking after several years and I had to do an emergency transfer of the fish and plants to another tank. I want to shout out Rita B, for excellent customer service, patience, and making both my puppies look spectacular , adding a flower and a bow was the ultimate touch. I was very pleased today with service and the kind heart of this particular staff member. THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!

I’m only giving a second star because the staff is fairly knowledgeable. To say some of them are rude…. I purchased a bird and a week later he had a seizure and passed away. I called several times to different parts of the store with no luck on anyone answering. Grooming salon, small animals and birds, etc. I never saw a bird have a seizure so I wasn’t sure what was going on. This is why I called. I’ve owned birds my whole life, but never saw a bird have a seizure. Pets aren’t objects and sometimes people will need to call about their new pets. I was unable to reach anyone for any support while he was having a seizure which put extra stress on me and my daughter. I’m sure I will get a refund for him since it’s within the window. The kids love to come and see all the animals. Staff is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Pricing is a bit high considering tjmaxx is around the corner and sometimes offers some of the items sold here at a much lower price. Overall, great variety of products offered at this location
