PetSmart Grooming

I’ve been a loyal PetSmart customer for over 7 years, and I’ve never experienced treatment as unprofessional and disrespectful as I did during today's grooming appointment. I brought in my newly adopted dog and was immediately met with a hostile tone from the associate, Jensen. She asked for vaccination records, and I explained they should already be on file from a visit the week prior. Despite this — and the fact that it was raining — she insisted I retrieve them again. I complied, hoping to move forward. When I returned, she abruptly told me she was refusing service due to my “attitude,” which was completely baffling. After a long year of trying multiple groomers in the area who were inconsistent (really good the 1st time, then just OK), I will be forever going to PetSmart with Savannah, Shannon, and Maggie as the best groomers in the area! After 4 different grooming appointments, they consistently do my fur kids nails perfectly in pink, and what I want EVERY time. They offer a military discount of 10% off on grooming for Tuesday, and I take advantage of it. With their hours being VERY accommodating (open every day), value for my money, safety for my dog, kindness of staff, and everything being done right the 1st time, I finally found my groomers for life!

My dog Teddy had an appointment at 8 am. This is his first grooming experience ever. They let my husband know it could take 3/4 hours because someone new was cutting him and they may need a little longer. At 5 hours I called to see if he was done where they told me 50 more minutes! I was devastated. When I arrived they were being rough with Teddy, giving me a glare look for standing there watching and even asked me to move. His nail clipping lasted a whole 2 minutes. This is the LAST time I will ever give them my business. I am appalled I even left Teddy there for 6 hours. Also noting they are not "allowed" to allow dogs a restroom break as it is against policy, so our puppy also sat for 6 hours without a break. Lastly, the price was NOT what the PetSmart app said.
