The only reason I go to PetSmart Bellingham is because of Jamie in their grooming department. I can’t say enough good things about how skilled she is! She is absolutely amazing with my Husky, she is patient, and incredibly gentle, she has such a gift for reading animal body language and making nervous pets feel safe and comfortable. My dog loves Jamie and is excited to see her, and she treats my Husky as if she were her own. PetSmart have a deshedding package, but Jamie's execution is the best in town. I’ve tried other groomers (stores and people), but no one comes close to how thorough Jamie is. My husky comes home soft, shiny and without all the leftover loose hair that others often miss. I brought my little babe here on his 15th birthday and the employees adored him and gave him so much attention, they even gifted him a stuffed animal! I did notice they had a huge selection of leashes, collars, and harnesses, I was a bit impressed, as well as a huge selection of animal halloween costumes. We will definitely be making this a yearly tradition

PetSmart is a convenient place to grab last-minute small pet supplies. It’s a large store but still easy to find what you need.

Even with an appointment, I was looking at a wait time of 3-4 hours. Which is whatever, she's a Pomeranian. Thinking she was going to be carefully clipped with scissors and groomed. 3.5 hours later I get her and she, the best way to put it, is laughably horrible. She was buzzed cut around her body, her tail brushed, and head untouched. Very uneven in multiple places with random snips of hair you can see here and there. Didn't touch her ears and obviously bunched up her tail fur and snipped it all at once Then lightly powdered with, what smells like, pet carpet cleaner. It took 3 and a half hours to buzz cut and powder a 7 lbs dog. If you have a short hair dog that needs minimal grooming. Sure, maybe. Even then I'd be cautious. Anything with long or fine hair, for your sake and even mine
