The doctors, techs, and staff are all really kind, patient, and friendly. They are well-trained in how to handle owners (especially anxious ones). They're all really patient with my pets that have severe trauma. I appreciate the clinic's flexibility with allowing the owner to stay with the pet as it goes under anesthesia and with post-surgical procedures to reduce the stress for pets that have trauma. I also appreciate their flexibility during exams in making sure my pets are comfortable and feel safe. To be entirely honest, however, I have not seen a significant difference between this vet's clinic and any other clinic that truly cares about animals. I am still deciding if this clinic is really worth the high price tag. One thing that is difficult with this office is prompt communication

Dr. Schasch is my favorite doctor at Fairhaven Vet. She gets to the point, asks as many questions as she needs to pinpoint issues, and cares about what happens. Not every doctor or every vet hospital is like that. I love the environment and ambiance here. They play soothing music and everyone stays in their car until it's time to come in. This makes it the quietest veterinary office I've been to, which my cats appreciate. They do most of the work they need to do right in the room, so your pet doesn't have to leave. This makes it a much easier time and keeps their stress level down.

The entire staff is extremely kind, thoughtful and thorough. We are so grateful to have found this practice! We will soon add two more dogs to their list of happy clients. Thanks so much!

We love Fairhaven Vet! We have been taking our pets here for many years, and have had great experiences with all the staff. Everyone is super friendly, informative, and understanding in stressful situations. While my animals are not the fondest of being out of the home and around people they don’t know, Fairhaven does their best to make the experience go as smoothly possible. Our dog recently had a dislocated hip, and they were so helpful throughout the stress of it, and made immediate appointments for us and also took her in ASAP when surgery was needed for it. She is doing great now! They’ve also been super great with our cat!

I was treated very unkindly today by their manager, I can only hope the doctors did not support her. There appeared to be an error in the med prescribed (ear drops for anal gland issue) so I questioned it. Since the doctor told me my dog did not have an infection, it didn't make sense why they would give this $50 med for an off label use. So I questioned why would my dog be given this because she didn't have an infection and if she needed something why not give her the more affordable, not special stuff. I asked if they had a overstock and were just moving it (my rude remark for which I am sorry). I asked if I could return it because, since she didn't have any infection, I'd rather not get it.
