Pets ER Veterinary Office

My puppy almost died due to their negligence. If I were to go off the information they provided me my puppy would've been dead by the morning. They said (when my puppy ate razor blades) all they could do was Xray and to feed him bread. I got a second opinion at the Emergency Vet in Dover, Delaware and they said bring him in IMMEDIATELY. He had to have extensive surgery. Whoever answered the phone around 8-8:30 needs more training or needs to be fired IMMEDIATELY. I almost lost my puppy due to yalls negligence. Never will I ever seek this location for any of my pets needs and I suggest those who love and care about their animals to do the same. As for this vet DO NOT contact me after this review. It will stay here and i refuse to delete it.

My cat had a tumor which was removed but pathology found it be large cell lymphoma which didn’t give her but a year with therapy. My cat’s doctor was so compassionate and made me feel all my decisions were the best we could do. I also received a beautiful card with hand written sentiment from Dr. Boehland. Highly recommend this establishment.

We were here from NY and our doodle was having issues. He was lethargic, wouldn’t eat and cried when we picked him up. We found Pets ER, called them and they said to come. My wife started to read the reviews on our way there and we almost turned around but are so glad that we didn’t! They let us in as soon as we got there and took the doodle right into the back while we waited in their waiting room. Our doodle was already on a medication so they asked if they could do a blood work panel and we agreed. We waited about an hour when they came and got us to meet with the Vet. She said that she believes that the doodle had a ruptured disk in his back. The doodle’s bloodwork was good and she didn’t want to do an x-ray because it wouldn’t show anything and since he was still walking on his own sh

This is the worse unsafe place I have ever seen, we full heartily believe they are responsible for our 6 year old cats death. We had to have our beloved fur baby transfered there after a rupture surgery at our vet and let me say for one it is absolutely ridiculous you can not go in, some shady stuff if you as me, soon as we arrived with him and they took him they called us saying we owe 2500 dollars for a new catheter because his was clogged, remind you we just got him from our vet at the time and it was perfectly fine, that catheter was in for over 4 hours and was having no issues flowing. We finally got him back home and not even 2 days later he passed from a kidney failure!! His vitals were in the clear and perfect when he was at our vet. We grieve now heavily for our fur baby. I was at the Pet Er last night with my bulldog. He has skin issues and his paws were swollen, his nails were overgrown because he hasn’t let anyone cut his nails on top of infection. I could not be anymore pleased with the staff. They managed to cut his nails as well as treat him for other skin things going on that night. It was a wait but they were slammed with super serious things with other dogs. I am so grateful for them, I had called around 8 vet’s and only 1 called me back before deciding to take him to the ER.
