PetRad

When my 9-year old cat, Apollo, was diagnosed with hyperthyroidism early this year, I was given a couple options for treatment, including I-131 treatment through PetRad. My vet explained that I-131 would probably be the best choice considering Apollo’s younger age. I was hesitant at first because radiation treatment sounded very intimidating, but decided to move forward with this option. My anxieties were immediately quelled in talking to PetRad’s client educator, Sarah. She was SO kind and supportive throughout the entire process! She was able to help me schedule an appointment for May of this year, and Apollo was in and out in four days with plenty of status updates from Sarah along the way. Not once did I feel uncomfortable or anxious of how Apollo was doing during the treatment period
