We adopted two kittens from the Kitty Cottage and couldn't be happier. They kittens are so playful and friendly and everyone at the place was very easy to work with. They seem to really care about making sure the cats get a good home and I would highly recommend them.

I first encountered Kitty Cottage in 2024 when a neighbor had a mom and a litter of kittens in her barn. She reached out to me having heard through the grapevine that I had rescue experience. I agreed to trap them for her, take the kittens in and get mom spayed. Now I have kittens in the height of kitten season so I called Kitty Cottage who stepped up and agreed to take them from me after I fostered them for a month or so. They did all the shots, got them neutered and found homes for all of them really quickly. They are the best to foster for and I have done so a few times since. Our family has had the greatest experience with Kitty Cottage as foster parents and adoption parents. It is very apparent that they take the greatest most excellent care of this cats in their care. A family member introduced me to this shelter. I took my son to volunteer to have him doing something during COVID that was outside of our home. The building is older but they have been fundraising for a new building that is almost ready to open. The staff are usually really nice but can get very busy. I'm a talkative person so I have to try not to be intrusive. Last year I began to foster kittens for them. They were incredible at the start and continue to be amazing. The director is so responsive and kind to all my questions and comments. That poor lady has received well over a hundred neurotic texts from me since I started.
