Petland Hillsboro

I went to this petland to get a couple mollies and platties and I didnt noticed until I got home but my lyertail molly and my balloon platty both have SEVERE cases of ich. They were kept in different tanks so multiple of their tanks are infected with this parasite. I warn anyone who buys fish from them to be more vigilant than I was to the signs of ich (uniform white spots and stress). If you do want to buy fish from this company I recommend the Petland in Chillicothe. I have never experienced problems with them and the health of their fish.

Rude management that the only good employer is the lady with the buzz cut

The employees are nice and the store is clean. Animals and are very friendly here because they are open to the public to handle them and by animal's I mean fish,rabbits, ferrits, birds, hamsters, gerbils, dwarf hamsters, chinchillas, and they sometimes have a cat. The only reason they do not have an extra point is because their prices are pretty high, and the staff sometimes do not seem to know what they are talking about when it comes to questions about pets so I highly advise doing your own research.

So nasty smells as soon as you walk in, the fish tanks had dead fish all over in the filter and on top of the water. you couldn't see the gecko the glass was foggy from dry humidity and poop and pee all over, the small banana python lot of bite marks on the tail looks unerfed. The chameleon had a bowl of water they drink dripping water not in a bowl and tiny enclosures. Rude stuff way overpriced hopefully everyone can see this because the owner is deleting all the bad comments.

Very nice store and the employees were very polite and helpful.
