Petco

I went into Petco today to try and get my dogs nails trimmed. He has gone in multiple times for nail trims as a walk in. With prior visits, employees have been helpful in getting my dog inside as he is usually scared and likes to try and pull himself out of his collar and harness. However, today a woman inside the grooming department came outside when she saw us struggling to get our dog inside and put a smaller leash around his neck saying, “he cannot come here again without this leash.” My dog started to back up to try and escape and the woman kept pulling the leash, causing my dog to make choking sounds and whimper, ultimately choking him. She was then very rude, sarcastically asking if my dog was there for training classes. This attitude was extremely unprofessional. I asked for a nail

Better petco than most in terms of fish abuse. Good pricing for fish supplies. They should not be selling Bala Sharks of Tiger Os ars as they get almost a foot long and many aquarists are uneducated on their tank size. Edit I returned today and nearly all of their tanks were infected with ich. Do not buy their fish

Went there today to get gold fish for my children. I was assisted by Grayden. Who was very helpful and answered all of my questions. very knowledgeable and patient with me and my children. Very good customer service skills. The cashier who is slim built with black hair who checked us out was also very kind and helpful. I did not get the name. Same cashier who helped us the last time. Always pleasant experience.

Helpful and knowledgeable employees! Helped me find new food for my dogs dietary restrictions and also meet our bearded dragons needs! Well stocked and organized!

Refused service for no reason !!!!!!!! WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! The pictures on this ad are the dog that that this review is about and as you can see from the photos, he is nothing at all how we were treated!!! Merlin is a 9lb service dog who is fully registered & licensed both federally & stae registered. Merlin’s trained & still in training for his many service dog tasks but he does accompanies me everywhere including doctors, courts, lawyers offices, supermarkets, pharmacies and more…I have never had a problem. I have never been thrown out and Merlin has never bit anyone in his 13 months of life. HE IS LOVED BY ALL!!! On October 12th 2024 I was refused services for no reason at Petco in Wallingford !!!
