Petco

I enjoyed walking through the store they obviously care for the animals im the store and the animals they know you have, even though they haven't met them before, so kind and helpful. Great store overall. Their fish were exceptionally happy which I can only think that the people looking over them care for each one as they are all special.

I bought fish from another store that made my fish very sick because most of the fish here have ICH (white spot disease). I needed to return the fish so I called to see if they would be able to take the fish or if they could help me find the Petco I purchased them at since I didn't remember. The girl I was chatting with told me she wasn't able to help me find my receipt or the location I bought the fish at and that I had to call around which did not sound right to me. So I Asked to speak to a manager because I have an account at Petco and I know for a fact they keep the receipts on the accounts. ROMAN the store manager answered the phone with the worst attitude and made every excuse on the phone of why he couldn't help me and offered me no solution's on how he could. Then tells me he can't

It was a nicer store a few years ago, but they're really going hard on adding Vetco, which never seems to be open and always seems to be under construction. Nothing seems to stay in the same place. It's like they're trying to be a full service store when they just need to be a place to get food and litter. The staff is still always nice though, no complaints there. I don't really plan to return to this location

I went to get some fish and picked out a few. The employee took a really long time to catch them because they didn’t have any “fish” employees working and the employee insisted on using the smallest net. Then when I got to the register, they said they couldn’t sell me a Cory catfish because it would mess up their inventory and cause a discrepancy? Then fix it or don’t have the fish marked to be sold?! Very disappointing.

I forget the person’s name that helped me when I brought my puppy in but they were AWESOME! Super informative, recommended great food options for German shepherds, gave me other miscellaneous tips. I am super appreciative and will be back.
