Petco

Edit: Stefon was amazing! I called back and he apologized for his employees behavior and refunded the product I ordered over the phone. Ordered two items for delivery because I needed the digestion product before tomorrow morning. I never order delivery due to high costs but this was an emergency. Through the petco website I paid tip for the driver. One product was correct, the other one was half of the size of the bag I paid for and wrong cat food because the age was incorrect. My cat needs age 1-6 (which I ordered) and this was the 7+. I called petco Roseville and explained what had happened. The customer service woman from that location was incredibly rude. She kept insisting that this simply could not have been an error from petco because “they have to scan the barcode.” Like whose

The staff here are always nice! It's just it's very low stocked store I can't even find filters for my cat's water dish here and that feels like a minimum requirement. But otherwise it's a very clean store neat and organized and again the staff are amazing!

This rating has nothing to do with the merchandise in this store, but the customer service definitely needs improvement. I stood in the fish area waiting for help while two employees were busy talking and flirting with each other, never acknowledging me. I’m sure they knew I was waiting, because one of them was facing me directly while she continued her conversation with her coworker. After waiting for more than five minutes, I finally had to interrupt them. Only then did they return to work, as if they had just snapped out of their own little world. Very frustrating and unprofessional.

As I walked in, the cashier said hi to me (as they usually do). Not 5 minutes later I was ready to check out and was waiting at the register. No one was in sight. I was waiting 2-3 minutes and still no one. I was ready to walk out (and go to pet smart), Stefan walked in and as he punched in he asked me if I had been helped. When I said no, he quickly punched in and jumped over to the other register and helped me out. No idea what happened to the other employees, but had it not been for Stefan, you would have lost a customer and a sale. This store frequently frustrates me, but because of proximity I start there (before I go somewhere else). Stefan was a breath of fresh air!! Don’t lose him and I might even come back.

I generally shop here for most of my pet needs. The employees are very helpful. The cashier went above and beyond in saved me money that she did not have to do. The manager was more than helpful and he acted like he really cared about my pets and their needs. Thanks for being awesome!!
